PhD students are affiliated with active research groups and sections where they receive professional feedback, participate in research activities and contribute to the development of new knowledge. We work on topics such as culture, education, organisation, media, literature, psychology, digitalisation, health, migration, sustainability and understanding of technology. 

The department offers PhD courses, supervision, international collaborations and access to laboratories, clinics and research facilities that support both theoretical and application-oriented research. The goal is to train researchers who can contribute to solutions to complex societal challenges and create new insights and knowledge.
