Prospective employer panels

Prospective employer panels

The head of department, in collaboration with the head of studies and the study board, ensures that a broadly composed prospective employer panel is set up that reflects both academic competence and the needs of the labour market. The panel functions as an advisory forum that contributes to the dialogue between education and business, and supports the development of relevant, future-proofed education.
The panel of prospective employers deals with:
- Development of new and existing degree programmes
- Quality, relevance and exam format of the degree programmes
- Interaction between education and the labour market
- Recruitment and future competence needs
The panel consists of a minimum of six external members as well as internal representatives from the department. The members are appointed for four years with the possibility of extension, and at least one meeting is held annually. The prospective employer panels are approved by the faculty and play a key role in ensuring that the degree programmes match society's needs, both now and in the future.
